About Me
Hello! I'm Dr. Gabbie! I am a Holistic Health Practitioner and Doctor of Philosophy in Functional Blood Chemistry and Functional Medicine. I absolutely love what I do! Many moons ago, I did my undergrad studies in Biology and spent the last 20 years in various capacities of healthcare. My journey started several years ago when I began to gain weight despite all of the diet and exercise. I was going to doctors and kept being told, "Your labs and hormones are normal." However, I felt anything but "normal". This started my holistic health and wellness journey, and the rest is history!

After going through my own wellness journey and healing myself, Kipani Wellness was born. I wanted to be able to help others find the best version of themselves and live in the most optimal state of being. Kipani Wellness was created to help others find the answers to their health questions and concerns. To provide a space to learn, grow, and take charge of your own health.

My Philosophy
Wellness isn't just one thing. It's a collection of many aspects of ones self that creates the overall experience and outcomes related to your existence. Wellness is described as the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving. Lao Tzu said it best, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." The most important concept that one must adopt is the belief in one's self and their ability to heal mind, body, and soul.

We are all on a quest to find peace, happiness, love, and healing; but it must first start with loving ourselves. Loving ourselves enough to take the steps to move out of our shadows of fear, past trauma, self-doubt, and pain, and move forward with courage, grace, forgiveness, and self-love. Our bodies are our vehicle, which transports us through each stage of life. So loving it and providing it with the best nutrients and self-care, shows our gratitude; and in turn, it will love us back!
